SMA Weimer Engages Future Leaders at the U.S. Army NCO Academy

Fort Bliss, TX — On May 11, 2026, Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Weimer visited the U.S. Army NCO Academy to mentor future senior enlisted leaders from the resident Sergeants Major Course Class 76 and Distance Learning Class 51-006. During his Leader Professional Development (LPD) sessions, he challenged the NCOs with seven critical questions designed to assess their internal motivations, family alignment, holistic health (physical, mental, and spiritual), and ultimate readiness to lead an organization into combat.
